A force both on stage and behind the scenes, Nicky Buggs brings unmatched energy and experience to every production she touches. A Manhattan native, Nicky’s journey began with formal training at Dance Theatre of Harlem and Juilliard, earning scholarships from iconic institutions like Alvin Ailey, Gus Giordano, and Tremaine. Her professional dance career includes celebrated roles with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks Dancers, and leadership as Co-Director of the Atlanta Chiefs Cheerleaders. Nicky’s choreography credits span the NFL, NBA, and AFL, while her on-camera work includes national roles in One Tree Hill, Greenleaf, MacGyver, Army Wives, Powers, and The Vampire Diaries. She has shared the screen with industry legends in The Secret Life of Bees, Fighting Temptations, Firelight (opposite Cuba Gooding Jr.), and Playing the Field with Gerard Butler. On stage, she’s performed in Broadway tours such as West Side Story (Anita), Kiss Me Kate, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, where she also served as Assistant Choreographer and Dance Captain. A true multi-hyphenate, Nicky continues to inspire as a director, producer, acting coach, and visionary artist in film, television, and theatre.
